Bruce Bachenheimer is a Clinical Professor of Management and the Executive Director of the Entrepreneurship Lab at Pace University. He is also the organizer of the annual Pace Pitch Contest and Business Plan Competition. Mr. Bachenheimer is an Emeritus Board Member and past Chair of the New York City Chapter of the MIT Enterprise Forum and served on the organization’s Global Board. He has been widely quoted in a variety of domestic and international publications, interviewed on radio and television and has spoken on entrepreneurship at numerous organizations, including the Youth Assembly at the United Nations and the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program.
Mr. Bachenheimer began his career in investment banking and has worked for global corporations and new ventures. He has conducted business in over two dozen countries and was the founder of Annapolis Maritime Corp. and the Co-Founder of StockCentral Australia. He holds a BBA, Summa Cum Laude, from Pace University and received the McKinsey & Company Leadership Scholarship to pursue an MBA degree, which he earned from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
Elizabeth Jovanoska is the Associate Director of the Entrepreneurship Lab. Elizabeth plays the role of a mentor and a guide to students interested in entrepreneurship. She helps students execute their business strategy and implement marketing and technology strategies. She leads a team of student assistants to create and organize events including Annual Pace Pitch Contest, Speaker Series and Workshops. Elizabeth has over 14 years of strategy, business development and marketing experience in the financial services sector with her most recent role at American Express, Sydney, Australia. Her passion is in entrepreneurship, and has run her own online start-up in the fashion industry. Elizabeth holds an executive MBA degree from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Sydney, Australia.
Shaily is the Dezer Event Fellow in the Entrepreneurship Lab at Pace University. She is the current responsible for the management of all the events eLab organizes throughout the year. Shaily is currently pursuing her Masters in Information Systems at Pace University. She has obtained her MBA in Business Management from India with 4.8 years of experience in Business Analyst, Operations and Data Management with Goldman Sachs, Tech Mahindra (IT consulting Org.) and TVS (Indian Automobile Co.). Having a wide exposure of management experience, Shaily is fairly equipped with decision making abilities, team work and strategic management skill and is trying to make an amalgamation of Business and Technology through her masters program. Shaily is trained in western jazz dance, likes travelling, loves horror movies, has interests in public speaking forums and content writing.
Brianna is the Social Media Manager in the Entrepreneurship Lab at Pace University. She is the current GA responsible for social media strategy and promoting eLab events through multiple platforms. Brianna is currently pursuing her MBA in Human Resource Management at Pace University. She has obtained her BBA in Business Management with a concentration in HR from Pace University at the Westchester campus, where she was Vice President of Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority and a student-athlete on the Cheerleading team. Last summer she had the opportunity to study abroad in Rome, Italy where she studied religion and art history. Additionally, Brianna was the Human Resource Intern at Westchester Country Club where she acquired many skills that will help in pursuing her dream of becoming a Director of HR in the health and fitness industry.
Nidhi Agarwal is a junior at the Lubin School of Business at Pace University. Her major is in Marketing with a concentration in Advertising and Integrated Marketing Communications and minor is professional Sales and Selling Management. From the previous internships she’s had, she has realized the ability to work under pressure, excellent attention to detail and a fast learner. Through this, she has also learned that she works very well in groups.
Ankita is from Mumbai, India. She is currently pursuing her MBA in Marketing Management at Pace University. She comes from a startup background with 5 years of experience in marketing innovative healthcare products across Southeast Asia. Having worked on various aspects of business from product development to marketing strategy to sales, she believes drive and determination makes you achieve the impossible. Ankita is a marathon runner and trained in classical dance. She is passionate about science and loves watching sci-fiction in her spare time.
Shwetang Vora is a MBA Marketing Management student at Pace University, New York. Had his first job working as a Marketing Associate for an industrial packaging manufacturer based out of India where he worked for around 18 months and later decided to move to New York to pursue further studies. Along with going to school full time, Shwetang worked as a part time Data analyst at a New York based delivery and logistics company where he analyzed company data to generate valuable insights and reports. He believes working with E-Lab is a great opportunity to apply the concepts learned in MBA classes while simultaneously observing how they perform in real life scenarios. Shwetang brings a diverse academic and professional experience to the table along with his unparalleled passion for ping pong and motion pictures.
