The Third Annual Pace Pitch Contest
Friday, November 17th, 2006

Emcee Bruce Bachenheimer, Clinical Professor of Management and Director of Entrepreneurship@Lubin, welcomed the audience.

 

 
  Steve Hindy, Co-Founder and President, The Brooklyn Brewery, was the Keynote Speaker on Commercial Entrepreneurship.

  Finalist Heather O'Shea, with 56 seconds left on the clock, pitched her Soyfully Delicious chain of vegetarian restaurants.

Finalist Heather O'Shea's friends and family were in attendance to cheer her on.

 

At the reception, cutting-edge products from the sponsors of the Third Annual Pace Pitch contest were on display.
 

First Place winner William Phelps, Pace University, Lubin MBA, accepting his prize from the judging panel. His winning pitch was Yamodo, "an innovative drawing game that promises to inspire the imagination and great conversation."
 

Second Place winners Chiranjeey Bordoloi, Pace University, Seidenberg DPS, and Peter-Charles Bright, Harvard alumnus, accepting their prize from the judging panel. His winning pitch was SweetShelter.com, "a Web 2.0 new business concept focused on the residential rental real estate marketplace."
 

Third Place winners Alexander Salzman, Princeton University, Economics AB, and Chris Advansun, Blue Horizon Media, accepting their prize from the judging panel. Their winning pitch was Rethos, "a socially oriented media company specializing in integrated cause marketing."
